Oscar Winner Guest Designer Holly

Welcome to another Oscar Winner Guest Designer reveal. Today we are sharing the work of another talented designer, Holly Hughes. Here is a little fun information about her.

My name is Holly Hughes. I am from Kentucky, married 25 years to my high school sweetheart, and Mother of 2 great kids, and Mother-in-Law to one wonderful Daughter-in-Law. My best friend, Barb Penn, got me into scrapbooking several years ago, so I got even with her and got her into card making. I love papers, and stamps, and embellishments, and everything else involved in paper crafting; it is a great stress reliever.

Oscar Winner Guest Designer Barbara

Today we are sharing our 1st Oscar Winner Guest Designer in honor of the Academy Awards. Our 1st Oscar winner is the talented Barbara Rouse.  Before we show you what she did with this weeks challenge lets get to know her a little first.

My name is Barbara. I am the mother to 6 wonderful blessings ages 16 to 24 and wife to one amazing husband.
In my free time I love to craft with my primary focus on paper crafting and loom knitting. I also dabble with sewing, plastic canvas, machine quilting and embroidery. My mom, baby sister and I sell our crafts at a couple of local craft shows during the “season” as a way to afford doing what we love.
When I’m not crafting you can usually find me at the gym or out doing a run of some kind. I’m not a marathon runner though. Instead I love to do mud runs like the Spartan Races, Zombie Runs and other local mud runs. I don’t run for time, but instead for the challenge to compete against myself. I recently recruited my oldest daughter to do a Spartan Race with me and we had a blast. Since then I’ve also recruited one of my sons who loved it and in a couple months will get my youngest daughter in on the act.

RCS #91: My Fair Lady

Welcome to another challenge at Red Carpet Studio!
Hello everyone and Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's day, and celebrated with much love and laughter. Tammy here with my first challenge of 2015!  I am so excited as this is a favorite movie of mine!

Today's challenge is inspired by the movie My Fair Lady.
In this 1964 beloved musical, pompous phonetics professor Henry Higgins (Rex Harrison) is so sure of his abilities that he takes it upon himself to transform a Cockney working-class girl into someone who can pass for a cultured member of high society. His subject turns out to be the lovely Eliza Doolittle (Audrey Hepburn), who agrees to speech lessons to improve her job prospects. Higgins and Eliza clash, then form an unlikely bond -- one that is threatened by an aristocratic suitor (Jeremy Brett).

THE CHALLENGE: CREATE A "GIRLY" PROJECT WITH LOTS OF LAYERS.

RCS #90: Casablanca

Welcome to another challenge at Red Carpet Studio!

Hi all, Angela here with a new movie challenge! This week's challenge is inspired by the movie CASABLANCA.
What better way to get in the mood this Valentine's Day than with an old classic movie.

Please remember, folks, the RULES HAVE CHANGED since last year! So PLEASE check them out before linking up! The DT loves to see all your great work but if you want a chance at a great prize, make sure you've followed the rules. I don't want to see you miss out!

Casablanca is an American romantic drama set during WWII. It focuses on an American expatriate (Humphrey Bogart) who must choose between his love for a woman (Ingrid Bergman) and helping her husband (Paul Henreid) escape the city of Casablanca to continue his resistance fight against the Nazis. This film has many famous quotes including the forever romantic, "We'll always have Paris." as well as the famous misquote, "Play it again, Sam."

THE CHALLENGE: Create a paper project using only BLACK, WHITE, and
ONE COLOR of your choice.
